Salary: $30.00 - $32.00/hr

What you will do

• Compile research for anchor and maintain on-air updates during live programs.
• Gather breaking news and print scripts/create guest one-sheets.
• Manage calendars, schedule travel/meetings/interviews, process expenses.
• Coordinate graphic elements, photos, and pitch stories/guests.
• Shoot, edit, and post social media content to platforms like YouTube, X, TikTok.

Requirements

• At least one year of news production experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California.
• Must have unrestricted US work authorization.
• Must work weekends and flexible hours under deadline pressure, including breaking news.

Nice to have

• Excellent knowledge of politics, history, and current events.
• Knowledge of Avid/Interplay and iNews.
