What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cash application specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily cash application activities for ACH, wire, lockbox, and credit card payments, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger.
• Act as the subject matter expert for VMS platforms, including Beeline and Fieldglass.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied cash, short pays, and overpayments arising from VMS integrations.
• Collaborate with AR, Billing, Collections, and IT departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex payment issues.
• Establish standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent experience in cash application or reconciliation.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience, preferably within the staffing industry.
• Hands-on experience with Vendor Management Systems (Beeline, Fieldglass) and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Great Plains).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, specifically pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause analysis.
• Must be able to work on-site in Atlanta, Georgia

• Experience with cash automation platforms such as High Radius or Erecruit.
• Background in process transformation or change management within professional services.
• Familiarity with large-scale client billing and payment environments.
