Salary: $64,000 - $109,800 per year

What you will do

• Interpret electrical schematics and produce detailed point-to-point wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Develop control panel layouts for devices, DIN-rails, terminal blocks, and other mounted components.
• Perform self-checks and peer reviews to ensure conductors and connectors match original schematics.
• Update drawings based on design engineering changes to maintain the latest production data.
• Collaborate with production staff to resolve red-lines and clarify wiring diagrams.
• Conduct physical inspections of panels on the shop floor and visit plant locations periodically.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience interpreting electrical drawings (wiring diagrams or schematics).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in panel-shop or industrial control drafting environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to conduct periodic visits to multiple plant locations (2-3 times per year).

Nice to have

• Direct experience with switchgear.
• Exposure to document control systems or ECO/EO tracking databases.
