Production Lead

TL;DR

Production Lead (Manufacturing): Oversee daily production flow, team coordination, and performance metrics in door hardware manufacturing with an accent on leadership, quality compliance, and safety standards. Focus on resolving bottlenecks, monitoring KPIs, conducting audits, and ensuring smooth operations to meet deadlines and goals.

Location: Onsite at 13285 Temple Avenue, City of Industry, California. Prolonged standing and walking on production floor required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Salary: 22.00 - 25.00 USD (hourly)

What you will do

• Assign tasks, conduct shift huddles, coach team members, and promote positive work culture.
• Monitor production flow, address delays and bottlenecks, update performance boards and KPIs.
• Ensure quality compliance, review inspection reports, collaborate with QA on issues.
• Conduct safety and 6S audits, enforce PPE and safe practices.
• Manage inventory levels, order setups, and communicate shortages.
• Provide reports, assist with administrative tasks, train employees, and cross-department communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum 2 years lead experience, 3–5 years in manufacturing (door hardware preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with production tools like MES, WMS, Excel, ERP.
• Effective English communication required.
• Ability to read technical documents, basic math, work under deadlines.
• Physical ability: standing/walking, lift 50 lbs.
