What you will do

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the facility, monitoring boilers, turbines, and steam plants.
• Oversee personnel and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental limits, and permits.
• Manage emergency responses to injuries or accidents on site.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Issue safety permits and approve requests for removing equipment from service.
• Train and lead a motivated, cross-trained, and technically capable workforce.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers and electrical generation.
• Must obtain and maintain ASME QRO Provisional, Site-Specific Operators, and Shift Supervisor licenses.
• Detailed knowledge of steam generating power stations and instrument and control systems.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform physical tasks: lifting 50lbs, climbing, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
