What you will do

• Lead technical assessments for optics-related issues during Disturbance Review Board (DRB) and escalation meetings.
• Own and resolve high-impact recurring disturbances across YieldStar manufacturing lines.
• Develop, validate, and deploy Best-Known Methods (BKM) for optical alignment, calibration, and diagnostics.
• Provide technical coaching and guidance on troubleshooting methodologies and system-level optical behavior to peers.
• Generate management-ready technical reports and escalation packages for global stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources including D&E, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Optics, Applied Physics, Photonics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5-8+ years of experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or precision equipment industries.
• Strong expertise in optical module integration, alignment, sensing, or interferometric principles.
• Proven ability to drive technical decisions and structure complex problems under production pressure.
• Excellent English communication skills for reporting and global stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift pattern (approx. 50% Day shift and 50% Night shift, 7 days per week coverage).

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global platforms such as YieldStar, PAS5500, Reticle Handler, or XT.
• Background in D&E optics roles or experience bridging R&D and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and engineering change processes (ECN).
• Lean / Kaizen mindset and experience driving continuous improvement.
