What you will do

• Define and execute project procurement plans with input from project team, sales, engineering, and quality.
• Conduct RFPs, source suppliers, negotiate pricing, and prepare vendor recommendations.
• Lead commercial contract/PO negotiations, issue purchase orders, and manage supplier contracts.
• Monitor vendor schedules, ensure procurement aligns with timelines and budgets, and handle claims/invoices.
• Coordinate with logistics for shipments and report to management on procurement activities.
• Collaborate on supplier category strategies and utilize procurement software/tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years in procurement, preferably projects; Pulp & Paper or process industries experience a plus.
• Experience with commercial contracts, metals products, fabricated/machined materials.
• Intermediate-advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and travel 15-25% domestically/internationally.
• Bachelor’s in engineering, supply chain, business administration/management (Master’s preferred).
