What you will do

• Analyze specifications, quality, and delivery requirements to determine the best supply sources for product categories.
• Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with selected suppliers.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and drive cost reduction initiatives to maintain cost control.
• Manage site inventory levels, product rejects, and chargebacks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in daily meetings to ensure parts flow to operations.
• Evaluate supplier performance using quarterly scorecards and conducting site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in purchasing, supply management, or sourcing packaging components.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing facility and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (minimum 25%).

Nice to have

• CSCP, CLTD, CPIM or equivalent professional certifications.
