Location: Hybrid (Must be based in or near Saskatoon or Toronto, Canada)

Salary: CAD $120,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, revenue recognition, and tax compliance.
• Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Prepare monthly flux analysis and provide clear commentary on business drivers and trends.
• Resolve technical accounting matters by preparing well-supported accounting memos.
• Coordinate annual audits and manage compliance filings for both Canada and the US.

Requirements

• CPA designation.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in tech, SaaS, or high-growth scale-up environments.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing close processes for multi-entity, multi-currency organizations.
• Familiarity with Canadian and US payroll standards.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment in Saskatoon or Toronto, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite or other major ERP systems.
• Direct experience working within the SaaS industry.
