What you will do

• Verify received materials conform to specifications through visual and measurement tests.
• Identify and reject discrepant materials to prevent them from being assembled into final products.
• Maintain strict control over non-conforming materials, including dispositioning and system movements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing to ensure quality and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform inspections based on engineering drawings, purchase orders, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma and minimum 6 years of experience in quality control (QC).
• Must be a local candidate to Somerset, NJ.
• Practical experience performing part inspections on machined parts and assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings using GD&T.
• Experience operating and programming CMM.
• Proficiency with SAP (or similar material management systems) and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a related technical discipline.
• American Society of Quality (ASQ) certification.
