Salary: $112,900 – $257,000 per year

What you will do

• Define, design, and lead the implementation of enterprise-wide solutions for complex, distributed data systems.
• Analyze the current application and data landscape to identify opportunities for modernization and optimization.
• Architect end-to-end solutions including integration patterns, data pipelines, and Azure cloud deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, guiding the development of services and APIs.
• Design and optimize relational databases, focusing on SQL modeling, query tuning, and migration strategies.
• Establish and enforce architectural guidelines and secure-by-design principles through risk assessments and reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, system design, or solution architecture.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL development and relational database design.
• 5+ years of experience with Java, Python, C#, or .NET.
• Experience with enterprise solution architecture and cloud-based deployments.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver comprehensive solution documentation.
• Bachelor's degree and eligibility for U.S. government Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure Architect/Cloud certifications.
• Expertise in microservices, containerization, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and complex system integrations.
• Master's degree.
