- Provide strategic technical leadership, evaluate landscapes, draft assessments, and estimate project scopes.
- Collaborate with government partners to clarify problems, design solutions, and build technical requirements.
- Mentor team members and influence organizational technical practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years as Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect leading projects with customers.
- 4+ years coding backend systems and data infrastructure (Python, Java, C#, Ruby).
- 2+ years integrating emerging technologies like generative AI.
- Strong communication to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Self-management for multiple engagements and adaptability in ambiguous environments.
Nice to have
- Experience in government or mission-relevant services like justice system or social safety net.
- Knowledge graphs or GraphRAG for data sources.
- Government procurement experience.
- Open source contributions.
