What you will do

• Lead solutions development including AI integrations like LLMs, agentic orchestration, and RAG for government services.
• Provide strategic technical leadership, evaluate landscapes, draft assessments, and estimate project scopes.
• Collaborate with government partners to clarify problems, design solutions, and build technical requirements.
• Mentor team members and influence organizational technical practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years as Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect leading projects with customers.
• 4+ years coding backend systems and data infrastructure (Python, Java, C#, Ruby).
• 2+ years integrating emerging technologies like generative AI.
• Strong communication to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Self-management for multiple engagements and adaptability in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in government or mission-relevant services like justice system or social safety net.
• Knowledge graphs or GraphRAG for data sources.
• Government procurement experience.
• Open source contributions.
