TL;DR

Location: Salt Lake City, USA (Onsite, 5 days a week)

What you will do

• Design and build custom hardware/software test fixtures to validate hirify.global product families.
• Test, debug, and report bugs related to mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software components.
• Develop and evangelize new testing methodologies and tools to increase manual and automated test coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering test, bringup, and deployment of the Autonomous Platform for Buildings.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in a test or design focused role.
• Ability to independently architect, design, and build custom hardware/software test systems.
• Hands-on experience in a hardware lab, including soldering, wiring, and debugging prototype electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Python for test script design, coding, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of test methods, statistics, and data analysis techniques.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with embedded protocols (SPI, UART, I2C) and interfaces (Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, WIFI).
• Experience with basic Linux operation, terminal commands, and PCBA design/bringup.
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithm design.
• Experience building test infrastructure from the ground up in a startup environment.
