Advanced Materials Researcher (Materials)

What you will do

• Design and develop metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites with tailored thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties.
• Evaluate material systems, additives, processing routes, and characterization results.
• Develop and optimize compounding processes and translate laboratory formulations into scalable manufacturing processes.
• Analyze failure modes and performance limitations to improve material performance and reliability.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Procurement, Product teams, and external partners to industrialize new materials.
• Manage project costing, scheduling, resources, technical documentation, and intellectual property contributions.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Materials, Physics, Semiconductors, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in materials; 5+ years is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in circuit protection is preferred.
• Experience with DSC, TGA, FTIR, SEM, or similar material characterization techniques.
• Expertise in design of experiments and familiarity with manufacturing process capability development.
• Fluent English for writing, reading, and conversation is required.

• Experience scaling materials from R&D to initial manufacturing phases.
• Experience with manufacturing process capability development.
• Track record of driving innovation and advanced R&D projects.
