Field Engineer/Install Technical Team Lead (DSW - Road Warrior)

What you will do

• Lead execution of security system installation projects, developing schedules and ensuring deliverables meet codes.
• Manage install teams in remote locations, scope of work, procurement, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and test electronic security systems including PACS, intrusion detection, CCTV, and locking systems.
• Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics, blueprints, and construction plans.
• Perform wiring per NEC guidelines, use test equipment like multimeters and cable testers.
• Travel 75-90% to sites on 4x10hr schedule (Mon-Thu), with overtime flexibility.

Requirements

• US Citizen with valid Driver’s License; able to pass DoE background check (financial, credit, criminal).
• Minimum 10+ years technical experience installing electronics/electrical systems (intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, intercoms, low voltage).
• Extensive team lead experience managing schedules and personnel.
• Proficient reading schematics, using test equipment, preparing site documentation.
• Knowledge of DoD/DoS security requirements, NEC, grounding, and electrical safety.
• Strong communication, self-motivated, proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
