What you will do

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries to meet established month-end close deadlines.
• Manage accounting for cash, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and key balance sheet accounts.
• Handle invoicing tasks for the advertising agency and other business units, including billing templates and expense reconciliation.
• Lead the resolution of issues on assigned accounts to ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset reports.
• Develop audit schedules and work directly with external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Experience with bank and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in using complex spreadsheets and accounting systems.
• Must be based in the U.S. (compensation not applicable outside the U.S.)

Nice to have

• Public Accounting experience.
• CPA certification or being on a CPA track.
• Experience with Microsoft D365.
