What you will do

• Lead and participate in the hands-on assembly of prototypes and low-volume production products.
• Design and create manufacturing aids, jigs, and fixtures to support assembly processes.
• Provide daily technical support to technicians and assembly personnel to resolve build issues in real time.
• Collaborate with design engineering to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements based on physical build experience.
• Create and maintain detailed build instructions, SOPs, and work instructions for production staff.
• Investigate build failures and quality issues using root-cause analysis methodologies such as 5 Whys.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing complex mechanical or electromechanical products (or 3 years with a Master's degree).
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering prints and electrical schematics.
• Must be able to work onsite at the factory floor in Horsham, PA.
