What you will do

• Define and improve General Assembly manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, and cost goals.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Process Control Plans (PCP) and Tooling & Equipment Bulletins (TEB).
• Troubleshoot manufacturing automated equipment and provide technical direction to outside vendors.
• Perform design reviews and G-Risk safety assessments.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to improve plant performance.
• Manage equipment buyoffs at vendor sites and support throughput improvement processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in MS Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD Inventor).
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US (no sponsorship provided now or in the future).
• Willingness to work off-shifts and extended hours.

Nice to have

• 2-3 years of plant experience.
• Knowledge of MAXIMO, DCC, and SAP.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAD and Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Experience with process controls management, including error proofing and vision systems.
