• Develop and execute media strategies, building strong relationships with AI, enterprise tech, and business reporters.
• Lead announcement strategies for funding rounds, product launches, and customer wins from narrative to measurement.
• Partner with founders to build high-impact thought leadership and prepare them for interviews and keynotes.
• Shape and protect the company's reputation, serving as a steady advisor during sensitive moments.
• Define the core company narrative and high-level product positioning in collaboration with product marketing.
• Manage analyst relations with firms like Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and independent AI analysts.

Requirements

• 7+ years in communications, with significant in-house experience at a B2B software, AI, or fintech company.
• Proven track record of securing tier-one features and op-eds.
• Exceptional writing skills across various formats, from press releases to internal memos.
• Must be based in San Francisco or New York City.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and a strong bias toward shipping in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency with modern communications and AI tools.
