AI Strategist (SEO)

AI Strategist (SEO/GEO): Develop client playbooks for understanding AI visibility and turning insights into technical SEO, content, and strategic actions that improve GEO performance with an accent on owning strategic client accounts and partnering with product teams. Location: Hybrid in NYC (must be based in NYC area and available to work in-office 3x/week; NY and WA residents only)

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 + equity + bonus

What you will do

• Develop client playbooks for AI visibility insights into technical, content, and strategic actions improving GEO performance
• Own a book of strategic, technically sophisticated clients, driving adoption, growth, and deep expertise partnerships
• Act as client-facing SEO/GEO specialist, leading conversations and supporting team on complex needs
• Translate platform insights into actionable recommendations boosting usage and outcomes
• Partner with Product as voice of customer, shaping roadmap from real needs
• Build frameworks, enablement, and training to elevate SEO/GEO fluency across GTM organization

Requirements

• 7+ years in SEO with hands-on technical depth in strategy and execution
• Experience owning SEO programs at brands, agencies, or SEO tech companies
• Strong command of technical SEO: crawling, indexing, architecture, schema, content discoverability, backlinks
• Familiarity with AI search, LLM visibility, GEO, and their impact on SEO strategy
• Ability to connect SEO fundamentals to AI/LLM behavior into client recommendations
• Strong client-facing communication; based in NYC, in-office 3x/week
• Analytical skills, cross-functional influence, comfort in startup ambiguity
