What you will do

• Inspect materials for proper identification and key attributes based on inspection sheets.
• Set up test equipment and maintain detailed records of results in databases or log sheets.
• Perform process and product audits, ensuring timely and accurate containment of issues.
• Investigate and resolve quality problems using root cause analysis and support corrective actions.
• Act as the subject matter expert for quality within assigned production areas.
• Analyze warranty claims to identify and address trends in functional areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or Technical School Diploma.
• Location: Must be able to work onsite in Byhalia, MS.
• 1-2 years of experience in machine operation within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read basic prints and use basic measuring instruments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook).

Nice to have

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering or Quality Control.
• Prior experience specifically in the field of quality.
• Basic understanding of metal working processes.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and lean production systems.
