Payroll Specialist (Mid-Level) (International Payroll): Executing monthly payroll and benefits operations for Spain while coordinating external providers in Italy and Portugal with an accent on payroll incidents, taxation, compliance, and employee support. Focus on reconciling payroll data, managing cross-country providers, and maintaining accurate personnel administration across multiple jurisdictions.
Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work arrangement. A valid working visa for Spain is required.

What you will do
- Execute monthly payroll for Spain, including bonuses, overtime, one-time payments, flexible remuneration, benefits in kind, settlements, and personal income tax.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and outputs with external providers in Italy and Portugal.
- Support employees with questions about compensation, benefits, taxation, and deductions.
- Manage personnel records, contracts, registrations, terminations, medical leaves, and Spanish social security compliance.
- Maintain personnel databases and reconcile monthly payroll data with Finance.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably in an international environment.
- Degree in Labour Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end payroll processes and external payroll providers.
- Knowledge of payroll-related systems and institutions such as Sistema RED/SILTRA, AEAT, Segurança Social, AT, INPS, or equivalents.
- Fluent or professional Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
- Valid working visa for Spain and availability for hybrid work in Madrid.
Nice to have
- Experience with payroll systems such as SUMMAR (LABOR), SDWORX (INTEGHRO), META4, A3NOM, SAP, or similar.
- Experience with Workday.
- International payroll exposure across more than one country.
