Consultant - Corporate Finance - Turnaround and Restructuring

Location: Boston, MA; onsite

Salary: $90,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the day-to-day activities of Corporate Finance Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams.
• Execute multiple tasks across consulting engagements, including financial modeling and client presentations.
• Build 13-week cash flow models, three-statement models, and pro-forma scenario models.
• Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Collaborate with T&R experts, BRG professionals, other firms, and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives.
• Support marketing, client pitches, product development, and the development of a fast-growing consulting practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of work experience, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Experience in financial modeling and analysis, particularly in Excel, including constructing and understanding three-statement financial models, cash flows, and scenario analyses.
• Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data and develop insights and recommendations from qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management, stakeholders, and other professionals.
• Mature presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, ability to learn quickly, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing work demands.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• CFA, CPA or equivalent qualification, or technical/GAAP accounting expertise.
