TL;DR

Auditor (Finance): Assist in planning and execution of audits across Lines of Business to ensure internal controls prevent losses and meet regulatory requirements with an accent on testing key controls and compliance with policies. Focus on performing audit procedures, analyzing results, documenting findings, and recommending improvements for operational efficiency.

What you will do

• Assist with audit planning, prepare audit programs, and execute procedures across Lines of Business.
• Perform testing of key internal controls using established standards and CAATs tools.
• Document audit results, analyze findings, and prepare issues with root cause and recommendations.
• Communicate results to Line of Business management and support special projects.
• Supervise Associate Auditors on specific tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in audit or assurance.
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, business/IT processes, and IIA standards.
• Understanding of Accounting/Financial Risk, Market & Credit Risk, IT Risk, and Regulatory/Compliance Risk.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business.
• Excellent organizational, project management, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and seek guidance when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in public accounting, consulting, or internal audit.
• Strong Financial Services experience, especially broker-dealer, investment advisory, or retirement products.
• Data analysis tools like Power BI, Tableau, and AI/GenAI tools like Copilot.
