Senior Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Engineer (Python/SQL): Designing and maintaining data-engineering workflows for a model delivery platform with an accent on data transformation, validation, and scalability. Focus on building robust T-SQL logic, implementing scalable Python microservices, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for investment model content delivery.

Location: Hybrid (minimum 4 days per week in office). Must be based in Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, or Houston, TX.

Salary: $135,000 - $145,000 Base/year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data-engineering workflows supporting model delivery across multiple destinations (S3, FTP, email, etc.).
• Develop and extend ECOS platform components for ingesting, transforming, and routing model content.
• Build robust SQL Server/T-SQL logic for data processing, validation, auditing, and error handling.
• Implement scalable Python services and microservices supporting the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines for model delivery services.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and model owners to improve platform usability and delivery workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software or data engineering, preferably in financial services or asset management.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server and T-SQL, including complex query design and ETL workflows.
• 3+ years of Python experience for data processing and automation frameworks.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Step Functions, Fargate, Aurora, and Terraform.
• Must be based in the USA and able to work in-office at least 4 days a week.
