Senior Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; hybrid work with at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 base per year, plus incentive pay

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data-engineering workflows for delivering investment model content to S3, FTP, email, websites, and internal systems.
• Develop ECOS and model delivery platform components for ingesting, transforming, validating, and routing model content.
• Build SQL Server and T-SQL logic for data processing, validation, auditing, performance tuning, and error handling.
• Develop scalable Python services, microservices, automation tools, and APIs for the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines while improving logging, monitoring, data quality, completeness, and traceability.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, model owners, and downstream consumers; participate in production on-call or escalation support as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering or data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of SQL Server and T-SQL experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and ETL workflows.
• 3+ years of Python experience in data processing, service development, or automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data pipelines, validation frameworks, lineage, error handling, structured and unstructured datasets, and scalable systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, plus strong analytical, debugging, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Financial services or asset management experience.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, Step Functions, Fargate, Aurora, and Terraform.
