Senior Applications Developer (Anaplan/Databricks)

Location: Remote within the United States; employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions.

Salary: $148,600–$237,400 annually in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington, DC; $141,200–$225,600 annually in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia. The role is also eligible for equity awards.

What you will do

• Own Anaplan architecture for sales incentive compensation, including model design, calculation logic, territory hierarchies, and plan administration.
• Design and maintain Databricks data warehouse architecture, data models, warehouse operations, reporting, and analytics infrastructure.
• Build and maintain Fivetran, Python, and SQL data pipelines between Anaplan, Databricks, Salesforce, Workday, and Zuora.
• Develop object-oriented solutions and API integrations for source-system data flows.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, GitLab repositories, and Databricks Asset Bundle deployments.
• Maintain SOX-compliant integration workflows and expand AI-assisted development and Databricks reporting applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or application developer at a mid-to-large technology company.
• Advanced Python skills, including object-oriented design and API integration development.
• Experience with Databricks, data warehouse design, SQL development, and end-user reporting applications.
• Experience with Databricks Asset Bundles for CI/CD deployment of jobs, pipelines, and workflows.
• Hands-on knowledge of Anaplan, Salesforce, Workday, and Zuora, including API integration and implementation.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fivetran or similar data pipeline and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with Terraform and YAML-based infrastructure provisioning.
• Background in sales operations, finance, or incentive compensation.
