TL;DR
Trainee (European Living Investments): Cover European living investments and Business Development assisting the Senior Director with a particular focus on student housing (Purpose Built Student Accommodation) investments. Focus on researching new conviction areas, supporting asset management processes, analyzing investment opportunities with cash flow models, tracking market intelligence, and assisting with transactions.
Location: London (hybrid, at least 4 full days per week in office). Must have the right to work in the UK until at least October 2027. No industry placement year students.
Salary: £26,500 per annum

What you will do
- Conduct business development research for new living asset classes and prepare materials for internal committees and external clients.
- Support asset management processes for Purpose-Built Student Accommodation, including data collection, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Analyze potential investment opportunities using comparable evidence, cash flow models, and sensitivity analysis.
- Track capital market activity in European Living Sectors and maintain investment market contacts.
- Assist with transactional processes, review legal agreements, and support execution activities including meetings and inspections.
Requirements
- School leaver (no industry placement year students).
- Computer literate, especially strong Excel skills and knowledge of real estate software; excellent PowerPoint.
- Analytical and numerate with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Hardworking, proactive, confident, self-motivated, articulate, and collaborative team player.
- Right to work in the UK until at least October 2027.
