What you will do

• Advise and support researchers in drafting data management and open science sections for grant proposals and Data Management Plans.
• Assist researchers in planning the collection, storage, documentation, and publication of research data and software.
• Design and run disciplinary training events tailored to the needs of researchers at both faculty and university levels.
• Act as the faculty spokesperson for data and software management, promoting best practices among researchers.
• Collaborate with the university-wide Data Stewards team and open science initiatives to streamline workflows.
• Further develop and implement the data stewardship and open science strategy and policy for the faculty.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent research experience in a relevant subject area.
• Strong advocacy for and interest in open science and FAIR data and software principles.
• Proven hands-on experience in managing research data and making it reproducible.
• Fluent in English (Dutch language skills are a plus).
• Experience or strong interest in handling personal data in compliance with GDPR.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
