What you will do

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview.
• Define and enforce data quality standards, policies, and procedures across the organization.
• Monitor and improve data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability.
• Utilize Microsoft Purview for data cataloguing, metadata management, and data lineage visualization.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including GDPR, through data classification and security.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement data access controls and privacy measures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview for data cataloguing, classification, and lineage tracking.
• Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and Azure Data Services.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK or DCAM.
• Familiarity with privacy laws and compliance frameworks like GDPR.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing Microsoft Purview specifically within a Microsoft Fabric environment.
