TL;DR

First Party Claims Handler (Insurance): Managing a portfolio of customer repair claims from initiation to settlement with an accent on indemnity investigations and supplier coordination. Location: Liverpool, UK. Hybrid working options available. Must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; no sponsorship provided.

Salary: £26,937 – £29,781 per annum

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of customer repair claims through to final settlement.
  • Conduct thorough and complete indemnity investigations on all claims.
  • Coordinate closely with suppliers to fulfill customer needs throughout the claims process.
  • Collaborate with in-house engineers to assess the repairability of sustained damage.
  • Process accurate payments to customers and their representatives.
  • Ensure strict data integrity by maintaining detailed records of all claim activities.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and a naturally empathetic approach.
  • Fast-paced problem-solving ability and the capacity to make informed decisions quickly.
  • Proficiency in IT and strong communication skills.
  • High level of organizational skill and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience or ability to deal with challenging customers and third-party insurers.
  • Valid UK work authorization (Graduate or Post-Study Work visa with minimum 1 year remaining); no sponsorship available.
