What you will do

  • Lead and manage a team of Claim Specialists to ensure proactive, high-quality service delivery.
  • Align team objectives with departmental goals, service levels, and performance targets.
  • Monitor performance trends using management information to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee claims assessment and decision-making, including authorizing payments within limits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, intermediaries, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict compliance with legislation, regulations, and data protection requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in a service-driven environment.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Hove, UK.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to build effective professional relationships.
  • Experience in claims, insurance, or financial services (desirable).
  • Good understanding of risk, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
