TL;DR

Student, Advisor Sales (Finance): Working closely with sales team on client servicing and identifying new business opportunities for investment products and services with an accent on sales processes and market intelligence. Focus on understanding product presentations, conducting fund analysis, creating reports, and gaining cross-functional knowledge of Fidelity operations.

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule in Toronto or Calgary offices. Current work authorization for Canada is required. Indicate preferred office (Toronto or Calgary) in cover letter.

Salary: Hourly $23.00–$27.00 CAD, based on experience.

What you will do

  • Understand how Fidelity products and services are presented to investment professionals.
  • Partner with sales teams to learn the full sales process.
  • Learn about current market trends through presentations from top portfolio managers.
  • Conduct fund analysis, create reports, and deliver presentations.
  • Gain cross-functional knowledge across Fidelity areas.

Requirements

  • Working towards university degree in finance, commerce, economics, or business.
  • Keen interest and knowledge of financial industry and capital markets.
  • Ability to manage short-term database projects and assist in sales initiatives.
  • Ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities using competitive and marketplace intelligence.
  • Currently enrolled in a registered co-op program.
  • Available full-time for the co-op term duration.
