What you will do

• Prepare samples for taste testing, including weighing compounds, dilutions, and performing calculations.
• Manage laboratory organization and sample inventory.
• Utilize software and databases to collect and maintain research data.
• Perform lab maintenance, including test set up, clean up, and supply management.
• Maintain detailed documentation for sensory testing results and associated files.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sample preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or applicable science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Food Science).
• 0-2+ years of experience in a laboratory environment.
• Strong expertise in chemistry, mathematical reasoning, and technical skills.
• Knowledge of statistics and experimental design techniques.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to be self-directing and collaborate within cross-functional project teams.
