Senior Web Designer (WordPress)

Salary: $77,300–$100,500 per year

What you will do

• Translate client goals and brand guidelines into sitemaps, wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity website designs.
• Create interactive prototypes, design systems, component libraries, and developer handoffs in Figma.
• Build approved designs pixel-perfectly in WordPress using Elementor or similar page builders.
• Configure plugins, forms, CRM integrations, donation platforms, tracking pixels, and other third-party tools.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device QA, troubleshoot visual and layout issues, and collaborate with back-end developers.
• Maintain and optimize live websites, landing pages, images, and assets for accessibility, speed, Core Web Vitals, and conversion.

Requirements

• Mastery of Figma for web design, prototyping, and developer handoff.
• Expertise in WordPress and page builders, specifically Elementor.
• Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS for theme customization and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of SEO structure, hierarchy, website speed, WCAG accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Experience integrating forms, tracking pixels, CRMs, donation platforms, and other marketing tools.
• Ability to present design concepts, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and collaborate across creative and technical teams.
