Senior Service Engineer

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating when necessary, and keep customers informed within SLAs.
• Track cases, follow up for timely closure, and maintain accurate documentation in the ticketing system.
• Follow and contribute to SOPs and knowledge base, suggesting improvements and flagging recurring issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, product teams, and customers as the technical point of contact.
• Share customer feedback to support product improvements and highlight SLA risks promptly.

Requirements

• English: professional working proficiency (spoken and written)
• Confident with Linux command line and system fundamentals
• Working knowledge of GitLab/Git workflows and key commands
• Ability to read, write, and debug basic Python scripts
• Awareness of and experience with the development SDLC
• Ability to work with Apache Airflow DAGs

Nice to have

• Experience in Customer support L1/L2
• AWS (EFS, EC2, SGW, ASG, NLB, etc.)
• Computer networking diagnostic tools (ping, traceroute, mtr, netstat/ss, dig)
• Hands-on with observability stacks (ELK, LGTM)
• Familiarity with ITSM concepts (Incident, Problem, Service Request, Change)
• Basic knowledge of financial markets, trading workflows, Pandas, NumPy, large datasets
