What you will do

• Design, operate, and scale storage-based infrastructure systems across AWS, Azure, and GCP using single and multi-tenant models.
• Enhance platform scalability, security, and developer experience through expertise in relational databases, search, caching, queuing, and streaming.
• Partner with Architecture, Release Engineering, Network, Compute, and Security teams to deliver a seamless platform.
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, Python, SQL, Go, and Datadog.
• Participate in a balanced on-call rotation to improve reliability and reduce operational toil.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and operating relational data and object storage platforms in production.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and declarative Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Proficiency in programming or scripting with Python, Go, Rust, or Bash.
• Must be based in Ireland.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working asynchronously in a fully remote, distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience building or running multi-tenant storage platforms at scale.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience operating infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
