Royalty Supervisor

TL;DR

Royalty Supervisor (Music): Preparing and approving royalty statements and payments for artists and A&R consultants with an accent on contractual entitlements, accuracy, and deadline compliance. Focus on managing audits, resolving complex queries, reviewing processes, and handling ad hoc projects.

Location: Minimum 4 days per week in the office (#LI-Onsite)

What you will do

• Prepare timely royalty accountings, review contracts, products, and raise payments six-monthly.
• Approve royalty statements with high attention to detail.
• Process all due payments by contractual deadlines.
• Assist with external artist audits and manage W Songs relationship.
• Act as point of contact for Statement Portal, resolving queries.
• Review processes, procedures, and systems; manage ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Educated to minimum A-level standard with good grades.
• Highly organised with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience managing a team (supervise 1 direct report).
• Comfortable communicating with all levels including senior management and clients.
• Ambitious, eager to learn, and accountable for workload.

Nice to have

• Previous royalty, music, or finance industry experience.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analytics.
• Passion for music.
