What you will do
- Prepare quarterly sales reports for submission to MCPS and PPL, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Validate invoices from music collection societies against internal data, resolving discrepancies.
- Provide music-related data to Talent Accounting teams for production company payments.
- Update and maintain databases with sales, payment and rights data.
- Interpret music rights information, advise on non-blanket agreements, and handle queries.
- Source cue sheets for royalty pay-aways and support the Music Royalties Executive with reporting and analysis.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Excel and databases to extract, interpret and summarise complex datasets.
- High numerical proficiency and methodical approach to analysing financial or rights information with attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare royalty or financial statements accurately against deadlines.
- Effective communication to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised self-starter, proactive, eager to learn and collaborative in a small team.
Nice to have
- Understanding of media rights, music rights or distribution agreements.
- Familiarity with royalty systems like Alliant or analytical tools.
- Background in accounting, finance or legal fields.
