Product Applications Engineer

What you will do

• Conduct Form-Fit-Function testing on new products, prototypes, and pre-production assemblies to validate design intent, installation, and operational conditions.
• Test and approve updated designs of existing components for manufacturability, performance, and compatibility.
• Qualify new vendors through first-article inspections, onsite visits, and compliance verification.
• Build test setups, replicate customer issues, and develop field-ready solutions in collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Document test results, update installation manuals, and manage multiple projects under tight schedules.

Requirements

• 5+ years in product testing, mechanical systems, quality engineering, or related; or BA/BS in engineering.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with measurement tools: torque tools, Skidmore, 3D scanners, thread gauges, calipers.
• Familiarity with Arena, Jira, SolidWorks/CAD systems.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in outdoor R&D environments.
