What you will do

• Define and lead the multi-year vision for Product Data Science, transitioning the function into an AI-native organization.
• Own revenue and growth accountability by deploying predictive models, causal inference frameworks, and LLM-enabled solutions.
• Build and own the data science framework for expert optimization, connecting skill signals to performance outcomes.
• Design and scale experimentation frameworks to measure the causal impact of training and tooling on expert performance.
• Establish rigorous technical standards for modeling, governance, and AI-enabled workflows across the organization.
• Mentor and develop senior data science talent to elevate the technical bar of the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Product Data Science with a track record of scaling high-impact models and experimentation frameworks.
• Deep technical expertise in SQL and Python, statistical modeling, and machine learning at production scale.
• Hands-on experience applying LLMs and modern AI tooling to accelerate insight generation and decision velocity.
• Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience building behavioral analytics or performance optimization systems in marketplace, gig, or expert network contexts.
• Must be located in or able to work from Mountain View or San Diego, California.
