What you will do

• Build and own cost visibility, forecasting, and financial control for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Establish robust reporting, trend analysis, and cost allocation for stakeholders.
• Drive cost optimization by identifying waste and inefficiencies across cloud and infrastructure services.
• Improve governance around tagging, chargebacks, anomaly management, and licensing.
• Partner with Platform Engineering, Finance, and Procurement to embed FinOps ways of working.
• Influence infrastructure planning and supplier management to align cost, value, and performance.

Requirements

• Deep experience leading FinOps or cloud cost management in complex technology environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of AWS and Azure, with additional exposure to GCP.
• Strong financial acumen regarding budgeting, forecasting, unit economics, and supplier commercials.
• Ability to constructively challenge technical decisions and influence senior stakeholders.
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach to prioritizing and delivering cost-saving outcomes at pace.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in London (Holborn).

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
• FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner.
