TL;DR

Platform Engineer - Performance (Business Analysis) (FinOps): Developing demand and delivery models to improve efficiencies and visibility across platform deliveries with an accent on cost optimization and KPI tracking. Focus on mapping spend forecasts, identifying anomalies, and aligning with FinOps teams to drive data-driven decision making.

Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in office). Must be based in Osterley, London

What you will do

• Create and maintain data models to map expected spend forecasts against actuals to identify drifts and anomalies.
• Align with central FinOps teams to identify performance improvements and cost optimizations within ecosystems.
• Define and track meaningful KPIs across performance, cost, and utilization to mitigate upcoming risks.
• Advise leadership teams on costs per proposition to enable value-based business decisions.
• Partner with Product Leads to collaborate on the prioritization of product roadmaps and manage dependencies.

Requirements

• Proven track record in stakeholder management and influencing both technical and business teams.
• Experience in business case development and tracking continuous improvements to ensure value realization.
• Proficiency in data-driven analysis using Excel, Power BI, and M365 Copilot.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• High-level operational knowledge of Content Delivery technical workflows and methodologies.
