What you will do

• Lead technical solution design, architecture reviews, and execution for platforms.
• Mentor and coach engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers on strategies, roadmaps, and initiatives.
• Define engineering standards, DevOps processes, and technology vendor selections.
• Build and recruit high-performing teams while fostering psychological safety and collaboration.
• Align team with organizational goals and handle production support escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent + 8+ years IT experience, including 5+ in wealth management or similar.
• 3+ years management experience leading technical teams.
• Hands-on with AWS, Python, Lambda, Postgres; data engineering and architecture expertise (preferred).
• Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in agile practices, DevOps, and cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• MBA or financial services industry experience.
• Experience with data modeling, 3rd party vendor management, and matrix organizations.
• Product development and business relationship management background.
