What you will do

• Hire, mentor, and retain engineering talent, creating a safe environment for professional growth and development.
• Remove technical and organizational impediments to ensure team members have necessary resources.
• Evangelize the vision of empowered product teams that take full ownership of the lifecycle: "you plan it, you build it, you ship it, you run it."
• Guide teams toward modern engineering standards, focusing on AI-spec-driven development and the reduction of technical debt.
• Maintain technical engagement through self-study, coding with the team, and hosting technical sessions.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work in a hybrid setup in The Hague, Netherlands.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years of experience as a mentor and/or engineering manager.
• Proven experience in coaching soft skills.
• Strong experience working in an Agile environment focused on continuous improvement.
