Application Developer - Fullstack (SME) (AI/ML): Integrating AI/ML technologies into production web applications for enterprise-wide data-centric mission management with an accent on microservices, ETL processes, and cloud deployment. Focus on designing scalable systems, developing rapid prototypes, and optimizing performance in Agile iterative development.

Location: Onsite in Sterling, VA. TS/SCI with Polygraph required Day 1.

What you will do

• Integrate AI/ML technology into production web applications.
• Design, develop, unit test, and deploy code for production systems using Agile methodologies.
• Develop rapid prototypes to refine requirements and demonstrate capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, create user stories, and translate into development tasks.
• Provide demonstrations and walkthroughs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security; write technical documentation.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph required Day 1.
• Demonstrated Agile experience with Scrum/Kanban, using Jira, Confluence, GitHub.
• 8-10+ years building web apps/UX/UI with Angular, React, or JavaScript (Java Spring plus).
• 6-8+ years Linux; 4-6+ years cloud (C2S/AWS preferred, Azure/Google/etc. considered).
• 2-3+ years search/analytics (ElasticSearch/Solr/OpenSearch), ETL with large datasets.
• 6-8+ years microservices/containerization (Docker/Podman); 4-6+ years OOP (Python preferred).
• Bachelor’s in CS/Math or related +6 years experience (Master’s +2 years equivalent).

Nice to have

• Text analytics, ML frameworks (PyTorch/Keras/TensorFlow), NLP tools (spaCy/NLTK).
• Data visualization (Tableau/Pandas/D3.js); relational/non-relational DBs (MySQL/Postgres/MongoDB).
