Salary: $190,000 – $220,000 per year

What you will do

• Establish patterns for spec-driven development, context engineering, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Own and define the architecture for AI-powered applications and services to ensure scalability and security.
• Design, develop, and deploy backend infrastructure and AI services focusing on high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers and Product Managers to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Build internal tooling and optimize deployment pipelines to enhance developer experience.
• Construct secure, high-throughput data pipelines to support AI model training and deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong backend or full-stack background.
• Fluency with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent) and managing repo context.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Express.js, or Next.js.
• Expertise in designing and scaling distributed systems and cloud-based applications (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, NoSQL, and data streaming solutions.
• Must be able to work on-site daily in Mountain View, CA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Stripe and subscription management systems.
• Exposure to computer vision, LLMs, or multimodal AI applications.
• Experience building developer-facing products and intuitive APIs.
