Salary: $215,000 – $280,000 per year + Equity

What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship customer-facing features for an AI-powered knowledge SaaS platform.
• Build responsive, component-based UIs using JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js, and shadcn.
• Integrate LLM workflows, including prompt engineering, RAG, and multi-step AI agents, into the frontend.
• Implement supporting APIs and microservices using Python or Node.js.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy via Terraform, Google Cloud Run, or Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product and design teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 1+ year of experience working with LLMs in the context of frontend engineering.
• Production experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React-based frameworks.
• Experience building backend services or APIs with Python or Node.js.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA (Hybrid).
