Cyber Specialist - Technical Instructor SME (Cybersecurity): Teach, mentor, and advise senior military personnel on technical equipment, capabilities, and TTPs with an accent on cyber operations, technical surveillance, and equipment training. Focus on developing course curriculum, delivering training at novice to master levels, and supporting DoD contract training needs.

Location: Remote, MD (Fort Washington, Maryland). Travel to CONUS and OCONUS non-hazardous locations required. US citizenship required. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain Full Scope Polygraph required.

What you will do

• Teach, mentor, and advise senior military personnel on equipment, technical capabilities, and TTPs.
• Assist in developing and implementing course curriculum and CONOPs.
• Provide training on specialized technical equipment.
• Design and deliver technical training at novice, apprentice, journeyman, and master levels.
• Conduct and document site surveys, OPSEC planning, and evaluate building construction techniques.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain Full Scope Polygraph.
• US citizenship.
• Graduate of Interagency Training Center’s Basic Technical Operations (BTOC) course or equivalent.
• At least 6 years practical experience in computer hardware/OS (Windows, Linux), routers/switches, network protocols (TCP/IP, etc.), intrusion detection, protocol analyzers, encryption, VPN, wireless transmissions.
• Minimum 4 years applied education/training experience teaching adults in last 10 years and 5 years TSCM/technical surveillance in last 7 years.
• Experience with technical information collection equipment for War on Terrorism objectives.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Education, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Science, or Physics.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, time management, organizational, and leadership skills.
