What you will do

• Review system requirements and develop test plans for customer use-cases and product features.
• Build and maintain test environments considering feature interactions.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, file defects, and retest fixes.
• Collaborate with embedded software, NMS, and hardware teams for end-to-end testing.
• Host test plan reviews and contribute to automation efforts.
• Root-cause issues and build in-depth product architecture knowledge.

Requirements

• May telecommute from anywhere in the United States
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, or related field + 2 years experience.
• 24 months experience in system testing for telecom/networking.
• Layer-2/Layer-3 protocols: IPV4, IPV6, VLANs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, ICMP, ARP, NTP, NAT, L3VPN.
• Networking devices/tools: routers, switches, servers, Ixia/Spirent; fiber optics, OLT/ONU, PON testing.
• Testbed planning/maintenance; manual/automated testing; test plans for features, acceptance, solutions, regression.
• Troubleshooting, triaging, defect filing/validation; metrics collection; Python automation, Git.
