What you will do

• Architect and implement core services, systems, and APIs focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability
• Lead technical decisions across projects, providing guidance on system design, coding practices, and optimization
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Conduct design and code reviews, contribute to documentation and RFCs
• Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure reliability and uptime
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and drive adoption of engineering best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience designing and shipping large-scale systems
• Deep proficiency in backend or fullstack languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, TypeScript)
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, API designs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and observability

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth tech or startup environments
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub), microservices
• Background in platform engineering, DevOps, or site reliability
• Contributions to open source or technical publications
